Terms Of Service

TERMS & CONDITIONS

By placing an order with The Beans Coffee Roastery, you confirm that you have reviewed your selected product, roast, grind, quantity, delivery details and contact information before completing your purchase.

RETURNS & EXCHANGES

Because coffee is a food product and freshness is important:

  • Ground coffee cannot be returned or exchanged.

  • Opened bags of whole-bean coffee cannot be returned or exchanged.

  • Unopened bags of whole-bean coffee can be exchanged if you contact us within 48 hours of delivery, provided the pack remains sealed, unused and in its original condition.

If your order arrives damaged, incorrect, or with a product issue, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery.

We may request photos of the product and packaging so that we can verify the issue.

Once verified, we will arrange an appropriate replacement, exchange or refund.

If the issue was caused by an error on our side, The Beans Coffee Roastery will cover the replacement delivery cost.

DELIVERY

We deliver within Sri Lanka. Delivery charges are calculated at checkout.

Estimated delivery: 3–6 business days.

Delivery times are estimates and may vary depending on location, courier delays, public holidays or circumstances outside our control.

Please ensure your delivery address and contact number are correct before completing your order.

ORDER DETAILS

Customers are responsible for checking their selected product, roast, grind, quantity and delivery information before placing an order.

Once coffee has been ground according to the grind option selected at checkout, it cannot be returned or exchanged due to a change of preference.

Whole-bean coffee may only be exchanged under the conditions stated above while the pack remains unopened and sealed.

PAYMENT

Orders are confirmed once payment has been successfully completed or otherwise accepted through the available checkout method.

Whole roasted Sri Lankan Arabica, roasted in small batches at our Colombo roastery. Smoother and fuller-bodied than our Medium Roast — the one most of our café and hotel accounts pick when serving coffee with milk. Choose whole beans, or have it ground for espresso, moka pot, French press or V60, so it matches how you actually brew. Every batch is logged and cupped for consistency, not just roasted and shipped.
